Getting Ready for Daddy's Trip

“We’re circling the ground and will be coming in for a landing. Everyone should be seated and have their seatbelts on!” - Amanda

The middle children have turned the girls’ room into an airport. There is a check-in counter (United and American West), security area complete with a conveyor belt and basket to deposit your watch and keys, baggage claim area, plane itself (bunkbeds) and even a gift shop with overpriced items. Amanda is the pilot, Peter’s in charge of security and baggage handling, Faith (wearing an old blue suit of mine) is the flight attendant, and the little boys are passengers. The tickets are courtesy of Uncle David, who has just returned from a trip to Zambia.

Tim and Kristen leave Thursday morning to fly to DC to join the team, and then on to Thailand on Friday.
