Congrats, Andrew!

This is Andrew (front right) at his doctoral defense this morning talking about his radar research.* He's set to receive his PhD in Electrical Engineering this May, and all that remains now are some pesky revisions to his dissertation. After ten years at Purdue, I think he's ready to move on. It looks like he'll be heading to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in June to work with a wonderful team of men.

2013 has shaped up to be GRADUATION YEAR for the Wegener clan! We're expecting four. Kristen will be graduating from Purdue with a bachelor's degree in nursing the same weekend as Andrew. Yippee - two in one! Peter will finish his high school program and graduate from our homeschool at the beginning of June. And then in July, son-in-law Collin has his dissertation defense and will graduate in August with his doctorate in ecology from Indiana University. He, Kara, and girls will be moving a few hours up the road to Huntington, Indiana where Collin will join the faculty of Huntington University. 

So many changes! So thankful we serve a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
