More Than They That Watch for the Morning

Our offertory this morning was Phil's lovely arrangement of Psalm 130, accompanied by banjo, guitar, double bass, cello, violin, piano, and percussion. I so wish I could post a clip of this song which has been coursing through my brain all day, strengthening my soul,  but here are the infallible words:

Psalm 130

(A song of ascents)
Out of the depths I have cried unto thee, O LORD.
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

(And thanks to Jody for introducing me to Word Cloud Generators! What fun!)

I was having fun with word clouds last night too! I pasted in the entire book of Psalms (it wasn't as tedious as it sounds) and got this one:

http://www.wordle.net/show/wrdl/2220217/The_Book_of_Psalms,_ESV

(it does include the uninspired chapter headings, which it would have been way too tedious to take out. But it is neat, isn't it?

Kara -I'm not sure how you got the whole book of Psalms in, but I love it! That sure makes the gold standard for use in weighing other compilations of worship music.
