You know your boy is ready to come home from the hospital when he starts riding his wheeled IV pole.
Today we got the amazingly wonderful news that Paul did not have MRSA but instead just a routine ordinary staph infection. He's been responding well to the antibiotics, and his infection site looks much better, the swelling and redness are receding, and his energy is almost back to its supernormal level! So, to the relief of everyone in our family, Paul was able to come home today!
