"Single-minded selfishness" or Single Minded Devotion?

If you haven’t done so already, please check out Pastor’s Bayly’s post written today, 2/22/07. Make sure to also read the article he links from today’s Indianapolis Star, in which Elliot Huck gives glory to God in his stance not to participate in the local Scripps-Howard spelling bee this year since it will be held on a Sunday. Elliot has been diligently working all year in preparation for this year’s contest, but as soon as he heard the contest was scheduled for Sunday, he said, “Well, I guess the Lord doesn’t want me to participate this year.”
