Menius on Parenting
I ran across this quote today while reading Huguenot Garden (Douglas Jones) to my children. Menius was a theologian who had become an evangelical Christian while sitting under the teachings of Melanchthon and Luther.
“The diligent rearing of children is the greatest service to the world, both in spiritual and temporal affairs, both for the present life and for posterity.”
- Justus Menius

That is a very good quote. A study could be done on it; or a sermon. But I think it is better taught over a lifetime by a Mom and Dad.
