Do Not Grow Weary

Galatians 6:7-9 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life.
And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

Today Pastor Bayly preached an excellent sermon on not growing weary in well-doing. His primary text was Gal. 6:9, that sweet verse stuck in to encourage us to keep on keeping on. Tim made many applications, including speaking to mothers concerning being faithful in training their children and workers being diligent in their jobs. In the balance of the sermon he exhorted us to not grow weary in the two ways explicitly stated in the passage: giving financially (and in time) to the church, and being faithful in discipline.

If you did not have the opportunity to hear this sermon, you can check it out on our church website. (It should be posted a few days from now. Look for the sermon on Galatians 6:1-9, preached on 10/15/06.)
